Quick update

On July 4, 2008

Just a quick update to let all my [two] readers know I’m still alive and kicking. I’ve been extremely busy with work and school. I failed to pass the requirements for graduating so I’ll be studying more and less work, and I’ll take the October ACT.

Last week we went to Oregon and did a few concerts at a few different places. We visited family and over all had a great time. We had some problems with our music equipment and trailor, but it was all in the Lords hands. We were playing for Him and it was His show, not ours. We were greatly blessed on this trip. To God be the glory!

Telectroscope

“Hardly anyone knows that a secret tunnel runs deep beneath the Atlantic Ocean. In May 2008, more than a century after it was begun, the tunnel has finally been completed. An extraordinary optical device called a Telectroscope has been installed at both ends which miraculously allows people to see right through the Earth from London to New York
and vice versa.”

It is questionable as to weather there is really a tunnel connecting London and New York City. It has been said they use a broadband streaming video, but you can see for yourself.

We’re back

On April 9, 2008

Thank you all for your prayers. Grandpa has been doing a lot better each day we were there.

(L to R) Mom, John, Paul, Aunt Laurie, Grandpa.

Grandma Kathy holding Elle.

Eric playing Uno with Paul.

My other Grandma holding Elle.

Dad sitting on Papa’s lap.

(L to R) Ben, Papa, Me, Eric.

Uncle David, my dad’s brother, was showing ups photos of his trip to Hawaii.

Anne at Grandpa’s house “checking her email” on my laptop.

Dad was playing with my camera and I just love to make a crazy face once the shudder clicks.

Elle.

Welcome to Portland…

Our traffic is wonderful! You only get honked at 23 times a day, you get cut off only 148 times a day…

And we keep our transients from sleeping under overpasses by caging it off (note cage in background)…

And when we run out of flat ground we build houses on the sides of hills on stilts.

Grandpa’s church we went to Sunday had some really cool stained glass.

Tulip tree.

On the way home, this was a coal train that derailed.

I thought this looked like the Windows desktop background. I just wish I took it as landscape (wide) rather then tall.

Good night

We’re leaving for Oregon tonight in a few minutes on short notice since my grandpa is really sick. I’ll try to keep some of you updated and I’ll have limited computer access so feel free to email me any time rather then call.

(I know this is April first but this is not a joke. To be honest, I wish it were.)
